A sign-up sheet will be used to get a
headcount necessary to order food.
Visioning is a directed planning program
to see what the members want the club to
look like in the next three years
    
RYLA Campers
      
Ron Fay introduced two RYLA campers,  Gail Borden
and Dj They said they felt RYLA had changed their lives. 
The club sent 4 to RYLA this year.
 
John Koskovich Memorial Golf Tournament
Tee-Off  9:00 am Monday Aug. 22
                      
Larry Pisciotta announced that the John
Koskovich Memorial Golf Tournament is
sold out with 94 golfers registered. 
Larry said that $54,000 has been raised
and that has to be a record.
Larry took this opportunity to say that
"he has been a member of the club for
forty years, so long in fact, he can
remember when Jerry Allen had hair."
Larry has enjoyed and appreciated the
club because of the people in it and the
projects the club does.
Jim Bickford, a new member, is to be
commended for his leadership in  helping
make the tournament a success. 
John Koskovich was an employee of
Brakes Plus and helped for
many years arranging prizes and
sponsors  for the golf tournament. 
Non-golfers are needed to help register
golfers and monitor the longest drive
and hole-in-one holes.
Golfers should plan on playing in the
putting tournament.  There is a $5.00
entry fee and a $100 prize to be announced
later.
All members are invited to the luncheon
following the tournament.  (No charge). 
Jim said the luncheon will probably be
around 1:30 when the tournament wraps up.
The Tournament is held at
Valley Country Club located at 
Arapahoe Rd. and Jordan.
 
 
 
Swiss Exchange Student
  
Ric Martin introduced Laurine Deprec our
Swiss Exchange student this year.   Laurine
did a nice job introducing herself.   She is
staying with a family close to Grand View
which she will attend.  They have 4 children.

Aurora Symphony Orchestra
 
 
Norman Gamboa, Music Director of the
Aurora Symphony  Orchestra talked about
how the orchestra is organized and
upcoming concerts.   The orchestra has
55 members and more if the concert requires it.
There is some difficulty arranging venues for
the concerts.  Norman urged members to vote
for the event center that is on the next ballot.
 
The next three concerts are:
Night at the Opera  10/15 and 16.
 
The Nutcracker   12/9,10, and 11
 
An Animals Carnival  2/12/2017
