        Zimbabwe Project

Carolyn Schrader is with Denver Mile High Rotary,
and has been US RI Grant Coordinator for some time.
She talked to us about the Zimbabwe Denver Mile High
is coordinating.
Since 2009, Rotary Clubs Denver Mile High and
Highlands in Zimbabwe have been delivering
economic and computer training to high-density
communities in Harare Zimbabwe.  The women
have learned to save and to start businesses.
Sixty Rotarians and 14 non-Rotarians have donated
their time.  Two grants have been used to fund two projects.
These grants have trained over 3,000
women in the Harare suburbs and its estimated that 500,000
people have been positively impacted by this training.
Caroline presented the project budget.  She is requesting
that the Aurora club contribute $1,000.  It will bring the
project close to its goal.
