      Salvation  Army Kettles
Linda Witulski  displayed two back packs that
contained  the bells and Rotary aprons
to be worn when ringing the bells.  The teams
manning the kettles starting at 10:00 am on
the first day, November 26, were given the
backpacks,  At the end of the day, 6:00 pm,
leave the backpacks, bells and aprons with
customer service.  The teams starting the
next day will get them from customer
service.
 
Note:
Each year the Aurora Rotary Club mans the 
kettles at two King Soopers locations from
10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
There are teams of 2 members at each kettle.
The starting date is November 26 and 27.
The final dates are December 23 and 24.
Members are asked to check their schedule
and be prepared to signup at the club or
on the Signup Genius that will be emailed.
 
 
     Foundation  Month
              
Rick Richard announced that this is Foundation
Month RI's goal is that all members become
sustaining Members.
Sustaining members contribute $100 a year.
Rick passed a sign-up sheet for those wanting to
contribute.
 
Kindles
  All Kindles should have been delivered by now.

Kimberly Armitage enlisted Steve Brunston and
his happy dance to put some fun into the upcoming
events.
 
 
November 29  Salvation Army Red Kettle
                             Kickoff
Club has reserved 10 seats
for this luncheon.  All have
been taken.
December 17   Holiday Party at
The Family Sports Center.
Kimberly Armitage will be
sending rules for the 
Christmas sweater contest.
The In Betweens, a singing
group, will perform.

        Angel Heart
       
Bill Bottoms, a volunteer with Angel Heart,
told what Angel Heart does.
Angel Heart provides groceries and meals
to shut-ins and people with disabling
illness.
Angel Heart has a kitchen in Aurora.  They
prepare meals which are delivered by
volunteers.   Some of their clients have
restricted diets.  They prepare 22 different
dishes for each meal.
Bill said that some of these
clients don't have anyone visiting them and
look forward to the volunteers visit.
Since starting in 2002  Angel Heart has
served 6,000,000 meals.
There is no charge to the people being
served.
Angel Hearts motto is:
"Food Is Your Medicine"
