2016 General Election

Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder Matt Crane
County Clerk and Recorder is responsible for
conducting elections .

The handout that was presented included :
What was on the ballot
Registered Voter Stats
Returning a Valid Ballot
Important dates.
Arapahoe County is among the top twenty
swing districts in the country.  That's
because the registered voters , Independent
Republican, and Democrat are evenly
divided.
The signature on each ballot is computer
tested using the last 10 signatures on file
for the voter.
This ballot is the longest on record with 34
elected seats, and a number of amendments
and initiatives.
Matt made the point that the postmark on
returned ballots is not a deciding point
whether a ballot was returned in time.
The ballot has to be in the clerks office
by the end of voting on election day.

        Visioning Results
Jedi and President Patti Bateman in Jedi costume.

Visioning is a structured process that envisions
what results members want to achieve in the
next three years and what the club will look
like at that time.

The presentation complete with Power Point
and costumes was done with a star trek theme
and accompanying music.  Kelley Neumann
put the power point together.
