Member Jim Bickford had a sad announcement. He and his family are moving back to Oklahoma at the end of the year. We are sure to miss his leadership!
President-Elect Danielle Lammon reminded those who volunteered to help this Saturday at Aurora Day of Giving, you will be outside so dress warmly. A detailed email has been sent to the 24 wonderful people the volunteered to help feed needy families. Contact her if you didn't get it.
President-Elect Danielle Lammon is preparing for your year as President of the Rotary Club of Aurora and is looking for engaged people that want to be a board member in her 21/22 Rotary year. Let Danielle know if you are interested.
President Phil Gibson took a show of hands in the audience that are interested in attending a tour at Blue Star Recyclers. The Founder, Bill Morris, gave a presentation to the club earlier this year and is thrilled we are interested in learning more. Many people raised their hands so Phil will coordinate so stay tuned for more information,

AMERICAN INDIANS: Donations for the annual Denver Indian Center Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets for needy Indian families can be made by check payable to the Denver Indian Center, 4407 Morrison Rd., Denver, CO 80219. Please designate on your check’s memo line that the donation is for Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets and mail it by November 1st.

We care about the health and safety of our member and community. As we continue to monitor and learn more about the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share some information with you. You’ve probably seen the following guidelines before, but they’re important and worth repeating:

⦁ Wear a cloth mask that fully covers your mouth and nose.
⦁ Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after each use of disposable gloves.
⦁ When returning home take off shoes and clothing leaving them by the door.
⦁ Wash your face and hands before touching anything in your home after going outside.
⦁ If using a cloth mask, wash it every day in hot soapy water and air dry.

Guest Speaker, Diane Simard, Bye Aerospace Executive
In addition to being a published author and Founder of COPE, Diane Simard is an Executive for Bye Aerospace. Currently Bye working on a two-seat electric plane. This type of development is her day job. Diane's real passion is motivating breast cancer survivors to keep going. To COPE if you will. COPE stands for Center for Oncology Psychology Excellence.
Diane journaled her cancer treatment journey as a coping mechanism for herself. Her insights were so honest and heartfelt others found solace in her words so she published her journal. Click here for her own words on turning a horrible diagnosis into something magnificent for so many.
