MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT REGINA EDMONDSON

COVID19 Information

We care about the health and safety of our member and community. As we continue to monitor and learn more about the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share some information with you. You’ve probably seen the following guidelines before, but they’re important and worth repeating:

Stay at home and do not travel.
If you need medical attention and it is a non-emergency, please call your doctor, do not attempt to travel to the emergency room.
If you need medication, please check with your local pharmacy. NOTE: Many of the larger drug chains will deliver without additional charge.

**IF YOU MUST LEAVE HOME:
⦁ Wear a cloth mask that fully covers your mouth and nose.
⦁ Wear gloves when going outside and keep them on while outside.
⦁ Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after each use of disposable gloves.
⦁ When returning home take off shoes and clothing leaving them by the door.
⦁ Wash your face and hands before touching anything in your home after going outside.
⦁ If using a cloth mask, wash it every day in hot soapy water and air dry.

Don Massey - Town Center of Aurora

Town Center at Aurora is a fully enclosed regional shopping destination in Aurora, Colorado.  The area’s one-stop family shopping destination, is home to over 130 retail and dining options with popular stores such as Bath & Body Works, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Macy's, and Victoria's Secret. Shoppers can dine at a variety of eateries, including Baskin Robbins, Chick-fil-A, and Taco Bell.  The city of Aurora is 325,000 people and the third largest city in Colorado. Town Center at Aurora serves the nearby communities of Aurora, Buckley Air Force Base, The Anschutz Medical Campus, the Lowry neighborhood and residents of southeast Denver. Located at Interstate 225 at Alameda Avenue, the Town Center at Aurora is the perfect spot for shopping, dining, entertainment and more.  Member Don Massey is the General Manager of Town Center of Aurora and shared a few exciting changes that you will see as we come out of the Covid19 pandemic.  One of the biggest changes is the former Sears space converting over to FieldHouse USA.   FieldhouseUSA is a community based, multi-purpose indoor facility that offers a variety of sporting activities, and skill levels, where everyone has a place to play! With state-of-the-art facilities and unique sporting opportunities, FieldhouseUSA provides an experience of a lifetime for all who enter a facility.  They serve the area residents by offering year-round league play in team sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and flag football.   Fieldhouse also provides programs for individuals such as performance training, all-sports camps, baseball/softball, birthday parties, boot camps, cheerleading, club volleyball, corporate events, dodgeball, lock-ins, skills training, taekwondo, and tumble.

Their mission at Fieldhouse is to create a foundation for customers that is rich with service and community, which are paramount to the success of the business and critical to achieving growth, retention of all participants and create the best sports EXPERIENCE in the market. Their Philosophy is simple which is to build a family atmosphere, hire great people, give them the tools to be successful and let them do great things.

Don is very excited about getting FieldHouse open and starting with a great impact on the community.   Don answered several questions concerning the impact of the mall on the community and where they are potentially headed.

Thanks Don for all of your energy and insight.
