Due to the increase in Covid-19 infections Governor Polis implemented new restriction preventing us from meeting in person for the remainder of the yearWe will continue to meet virtually using the same Zoom link below. Look for an email Thursday mornings from Kimberly Armitage detailing next steps.
Member Kimberly Armitage announced the postponement of the Christmas Party. Be sure to bring your white elephant gift to the Christmas/Valentines party the third week in February. More details to come as they are available.
Kimberly is planning a virtual Christmas party complete with Christmas trivia and fantastic prizes. All you need to bring is your favorite beverage. Again, look for details in the near future.
Member Rick Richard reminded us that December is Rotary Foundation donation month. As with most things in 2020, donation solicitation will look different this year since we won't be meeting in person. Please help the Rotary Club of Aurora meet its $4500 goal. Remember these contributions help with things like funding exchange students and 90.8% of donations go straight to projects. Just fill out a Rotary Foundation Donation form and send it with your check/credit card number to Rick at 3800 South Elkhart St. Aurora, CO 80014. Kimberly will be sending a separate communication with the form attached.

If you're wondering how close you are to your next, or first, Paul Harris, Rick can look that up for you. Thank you so much for your support to this worthy cause!

President Phil Gibson inducted new member Ellen Martin virtually. Ellen will receive her red badge as soon as we can meet again. Congratulation Ellen and welcome to the Rotary Family! Thank you member Paul Suss for being Ellen's mentor!
President Phil Gibson announced that so far, our scheduled Salvation Army bell-ringing is still a go. The Salvation Army needs a variance from Tri-County health to move forward and fully expects to be successful at that. Please only sign up if you feel comfortable doing so. Remember you must purchase a kit complete with an apron, bell, mask and hand sanitizer for $20 in order to participate.
President Phil informed the club that a new dues structure will be announced soon due to the lack of in-person lunches we have had this year. Remember that each member pays Rotary International dues as well as local dues. Look for the updated structure soon.
Joshua Knight and Chuck Bahr, members of the Rotary Club of Denver, Southeast gave a presentation about a WASH project they are doing in central Africa. Contact Chuck at to help.

You’ve probably seen the following guidelines before, but they’re important and worth repeating:

⦁ Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after each use of disposable gloves.
⦁ When returning home take off shoes and clothing leaving them by the door.
⦁ Wash your face and hands before touching anything in your home after going outside.
