Bill Rapp read a wonderful email received from previous Exchange Student Annie from Germany, who professes to miss us and Colorado very much.
A reminder: current Exchange Student Katie is trying to fill her bucket list of Colorado experiences. If you think you can help her with this list of opportunities and memories to take back to Copenhagen, please do so!!!
Salvation Army Thanksgiving Meal
Aurora Salvation Army will be providing a Thanksgiving meal for 300 Aurora residents and providing 100 to-go plates for those not able to be seated in the sanctuary. This is a first-come first-seated opportunity. It will be on Tuesday November 26th at 5:30pm. They are looking for volunteers or companies potentially willing to sponsor. Calendar Reminder - December 20th Rotary Christmas Party at Heritage Eagle Bend - Kim Armitage talked about the upcoming Dec. 20 Club holiday party, 6pm at HEB. And ... bring toys for the S.A. efforts. There will also be a White Elephant gift exchange. Details to come!

Don Massey, Pres. Elect, introduced the program speaker: the very talented Master Photographer Brad Mikel, who gave a fascinating vocational talk about his life and career, as well as sharing copies of his 19th annual calendar for the year 2020 to all members and guests. Among the many things Brad shared with attendees, he also shared tips and details about his hobby: collecting credit card points to obtain airfares, lodging, meals, drinks, and other travel “stuff” for free or greatly discounted.
