The State of the Base is co-hosted with the Defense Council of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.
The Defense Council is the only such organization in the Metro area. It is an association of local business and military leaders which provides for the integration of military personnel into the local community. The group strives to build an understanding of the needs of the military community and provide for a homogeneous blending of the key segment into the Eastern Metro community, while also recognizing the achievements of our outstanding military personnel.
